Number of Teachers in 38 Indonesian Provinces, First Semester of the 2024/2025 Academic Year

According to data from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), there were approximately 3.39 million teachers in Indonesia during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.

Of these, 960,633 were male teachers and 2,436,161 were female teachers.

During this period, the highest number of teachers was in West Java, while the lowest number was in the Pegunungan Papua province.

The following is a detailed breakdown of the number of teachers in Indonesia's 38 provinces during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year, ordered from highest to lowest:
