Golf, the Billionaire's Favorite Sport in 2021

According to a report from Wealth-X, golf is the most popular sport among the world's billionaires with assets exceeding US$5 million, at 18.6%. Golf is synonymous with a rich person's sport due to the high cost of golf equipment and the high cost of renting courses.

Billionaires then consider football their favorite sport, with a percentage of 11.3%. However, billionaires prefer to watch football rather than play it. Next, skiing, known for its luxurious and exclusive resorts, is popular among the world's billionaires with a percentage of 10.9%.

Tennis and basketball are next, at 7.1% and 5.9% respectively. Following that, American football is enjoyed by 5.9% of billionaires.

Cycling is enjoyed by 5.4% of billionaires, while baseball is enjoyed by 4.7% of billionaires.
