The most pressing issue that national leaders should address in the next five years, according to the majority of citizens, is job creation.

According to the survey, 34.9% of respondents considered the most urgent problem to be job creation and unemployment reduction.

The next most pressing issues for national leaders to address are controlling the prices of basic necessities (17.8% of respondents), handling the Covid-19 pandemic (12%), and eradicating corruption (10.8%).

Improving the quality of education and income equality were also considered the most urgent problems by 3.8% of respondents each.

Other issues included security and public order (2.8%), freedom of speech (1.5%), eradicating immoral acts (1.4%), and protecting Indonesia's environment from destruction caused by business activities (1.4%).

Preventing the entry of goods and workers from abroad was also considered a problem to be solved by 1% of respondents. Meanwhile, other issues had a percentage below 1%.

This survey was conducted from February 11-21, 2022. The survey population consisted of citizens aged 17 years or older, or those who were married at the time of the survey. Sample selection used a multistage random sampling method.

The survey involved a sample size of 1,200 people from all provinces, proportionally distributed. Assuming a simple random sampling method, the margin of error is approximately 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.
