Top 10 High Schools in Yogyakarta Based on UTBK Scores

State Senior High School (SMAN) 8 Yogyakarta is ranked as the best senior high school in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This school achieved an average score of 628.54 in the 2022 Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK).

Nationally, SMAN 8 Yogyakarta is ranked 11th. SMAN 1 Yogyakarta is ranked second with a UTBK score of 625.86, followed by SMAN 3 Yogyakarta with a score of 624.7, SMA Godean, Sleman Regency with a score of 621.87, and SMAN 6 Yogyakarta with a score of 616.49.

Following these are SMAN 1 Kalasan, Sleman Regency with a score of 600.36; SMAN 1 Sleman, Gunung Kidul Regency with a score of 599.91; SMAN 1 Wonosari with a score of 598.57; SMAS Kolese De Brito Depan, Sleman Regency with a score of 594.62; and SMAN 1 Depok, Sleman Regency with a score of 593.48.

The Higher Education Entrance Test Agency (LTMPT) ranked the top 1,000 schools out of 23,657 schools that participated, with a total of 745,115 participants.

The following is the methodology for ranking the top 1,000 schools according to LTMPT 2022:

* Schools with more than 40 participants in the 2022 UTBK (2022 graduates).
* 3,381 schools met this criterion.
* 515,165 participants met the 2022 UTBK assessment criteria.
* The 2022 UTBK score was calculated based on 60% TPS + 40% TKA.
* Schools were ranked based on the highest to lowest total score.
* The top 1,000 schools with the highest total scores were selected.
