Satisfaction with Government Performance in Recovering the Economy Increases

Fifty-seven percent of Indonesians are satisfied with the central government's performance in handling the economic recovery following the Covid-19 virus. This is shown in the results of a survey released by Saiful Mujani Research and Consulting (SMRC) on Tuesday (December 29th).

Only 39% of respondents were dissatisfied with the government's performance in handling the economic recovery. Meanwhile, 4% of respondents did not answer when asked about this.

Public satisfaction with the government's performance in handling the economic recovery has increased compared to a similar survey conducted last November. At that time, only 52% of respondents said they were satisfied with the government's performance in handling the economic recovery.

SMRC conducted a random telephone survey of 1,202 respondents from December 23-26, 2020. The survey has a margin of error of 2.9% and a 95% confidence level.
