The price of Grade 1 beef at West Papua Province's modern markets has decreased by 5% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Papua Province is recorded at Rp166,250 per kg. This price is unchanged compared to the previous day and the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of grade 1 beef in modern markets has decreased from Rp175,000 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Papua over the last three months has fallen by 5%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of grade 1 beef in modern markets in West Papua Province was traded at Rp175,000 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of grade 1 beef in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in September 2020 with an increase of 88.43%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2020 with a decrease of -45.47%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Papua show eight commodities decreased and 16 others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Super II Quality Rice, Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Super I Quality Rice, Large Red Chili, Granulated Sugar, and Local Granulated Sugar.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to price developments over the last month in West Papua Province:
