Current Food Prices in Lampung: Salt and Beef Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (8/12/2024) at 11:09 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, pure beef, SPHP rice, farmer-level corn, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,490 (4.97%) to Rp31,500 per kg. Shallots saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp2,140 (6.05%) to Rp33,220 per kg.
