Wednesday's (5/6) Food Prices in Jambi: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (5/6/2024) at 09.58 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased in price and 6 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are curly red chilies, milkfish, and broiler eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, shallots, broiler chicken, medium rice, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,700 (5.42%), reaching Rp52,490 per kg. Broiler chicken experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp860 (2.4%), reaching Rp34,910 per kg.
