Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (9/9/2024) at 14.25 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, SPHP rice, medium rice, broiler chicken, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, dry soybean (import), bulk wheat flour, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken eggs saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp420 (1.68%) to Rp25,480 per kg. The price of curly red chilies saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp1,390 (6.66%) to Rp19,490 per kg.
