Today's Food Prices in East Java: Rawit Chili and Red Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (October 10, 2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include garlic bulbs, broiler eggs, consumption salt, consumption sugar, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, curly red chili, SPHP rice, rawit red chili, and dried soybean seeds (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red shallots saw the highest surge, increasing by Rp618 (1.84%) to Rp34,275 per kg. Meanwhile, mackerel prices experienced the sharpest decline, dropping by Rp895 (2.49%) to Rp35,079 per kg.

7. Milkfish: Rp32,562 per kg (up 0.4%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp31,405 per kg (down 1.21%)
9. Garlic Bulbs: Rp30,330 per kg (up 0.39%)
10. Rawit Red Chili: Rp29,848 per kg (down 1.26%)
