Today's Food Price Update in West Java: Beef Prices Drop (Thursday, January 25, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (25/1/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, red chilies, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, premium rice, skipjack tuna, chicken meat, and fine iodized salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp960 (2.53%) to Rp38,950 per kg. Skipjack tuna had the lowest price decrease of Rp1,190 (3.3%) to Rp34,850 per kg.
