Food Prices in West Java, Sunday (June 16th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (16/6/2024) at 13.52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, kembung fish, medium rice, shallots, and bandeng fish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp5,070 (9.96%) to Rp55,980 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt saw the largest decrease, dropping Rp100 (0.95%) to Rp10,380 per kg.
