Bali Food Prices Tuesday (June 18th): Salt and Sugar Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (18/6/2024) at 16.37 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, shallots, iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, red chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest by Rp5,310 (13.38%) to Rp45,000 per kg. Red chili prices fell the most sharply by Rp4,920 (11.73%) to Rp37,010 per kg.
