Green Chili Pepper Prices at Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in West Nusa Tenggara province is recorded at Rp47,100. This price is down Rp8,750 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp54,150.

Meanwhile, the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets over the last three months in West Nusa Tenggara has increased by 135.5% from a previous trading price of Rp20,000.

The record high for the daily price of green chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2017 with an increase of 55.56%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2017 with a decrease of -36.32%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in West Nusa Tenggara show 18 commodities decreased and ten others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Daily Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Large Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Garlic, Daily Curly Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-sized Shallots, Daily Shallots in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Layer Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Green Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Premium Quality Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Low-Quality Rice II, Daily Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-sized Garlic, Daily Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chilies in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Grade 1 Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, and Super II Quality Rice.
