Food, Beverage, and Tobacco Inflation in Manado City, June: 0.32%

In June, the prices of components contributing to food inflation in Manado City reached 0.32%. This figure is lower than the previous month's 1.19%. Among the eight inflation groups measured in this region, the food, beverages, and tobacco group contributed 0.25% to regional inflation.

The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the consumer price index (CPI) for food, beverages, and tobacco in Manado City was at 116.74 in June 2024, higher than the previous month's 116.37.

Compared to the same month last year, food, beverage, and tobacco inflation reached 0.76% (year-on-year/YoY). Compared to the beginning of the year, prices of components contributing to inflation in Manado City have grown by 3.6% (year-to-date/YTD).

This inflation sub-group experienced the second-highest increase compared to other contributing sub-groups.
