Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down (Wednesday, March 20, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today is observed to be lower than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (20/3/2024) at 12.02 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), granulated sugar, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, red chili peppers, and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp500 (1.69%) to Rp30,060 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp7,300 (16.26%) to Rp37,590 per kg.
