Daily Price of Curly Red Chili Peppers at Traditional Markets, February 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in South Sulawesi Province is recorded at Rp31,850. This price is down Rp150 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the last month, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp24,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in South Sulawesi over the last three months has increased by 40.93% from the previous price of Rp22,600.

The record high for the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in November 2021 with an increase of 71.66%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in February 2019 with a decrease of -23.74%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in South Sulawesi show five commodities decreased and twelve increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Super I Quality Rice, Chicken Meat, and Fresh Broiler Chicken.
