Current Food Prices in South Sumatra: Onion, Rice, and Oil Prices Decrease

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (13/11/2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 5 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red bird's eye chili, Minyakita cooking oil, chicken eggs, consumption sugar, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, broiler chicken, red curly chili, shallots, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp205 (0.57%) to Rp36,313 per kg. Red curly chili prices, however, experienced the sharpest drop of Rp1,344 (2.22%) to Rp59,179 per kg.
