Prices of several food commodities in East Java today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (September 29, 2025) at 09:48 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 10 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with increasing prices are packaged cooking oil, SPHP rice, consumption sugar, garlic, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as red cayenne pepper, pure beef, medium rice, skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Premium rice prices rose the highest by Rp490 (3.24%) to Rp15,619 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices fell the sharpest by Rp1,835 (5.55%) to Rp31,200 per kg.
