KAI Commuter reported that five KRL commuter rail routes are currently operating across Greater Jakarta.
The Bogor route, also known as the Red Line, recorded the highest passenger volume at 38.2 million in Q1 2026. The line connects Bogor Station, Depok, Tanah Abang, Jakarta Kota, and Manggarai.
Meanwhile, the Cikarang route or Blue Line ranked second with 21.71 million passengers. The route covers Cikarang Station, Tambun, Bekasi Timur, Jatinegara, and Manggarai.
The Rangkasbitung route, also known as the Green Line, followed with a passenger volume of 20.19 million. The line passes through Tanah Abang, Palmerah, Kebayoran, Pondok Ranji, Parung Panjang, and Rangkasbitung.
Next was the Tangerang route, or Brown Line, with a significantly lower volume of 6.98 million passengers. The route serves Tangerang Station, Poris, Kalideres, Rawa Buaya, Grogol, and Duri.
Lastly, the Tanjung Priok route, also known as the Pink Line, recorded 873 thousand passengers. The line only stops at Jakarta Kota, Kampung Bandan, Ancol, and Tanjung Priok stations.
Overall, KAI Commuter reported that total passenger volume in Q1 2026 reached 101.38 million, up 8.12% year-on-year (yoy) from 93.77 million in the same period last year.
