Price of Large Red Chilies in Modern Markets for the Period February 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 08:23 WIB, the daily price of large red chilies in Bali's modern markets was recorded to drop by Rp1,400 per kg compared to the previous day, reaching Rp74,300 per kg.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp95,200 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in Bali over the past three months has increased by 112.29% from the previously recorded Rp35,000 per kg.

The record increase in the daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in this province was previously recorded in February 2017 with an increase of 122.46%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in January 2017 with a decrease of -45.16%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple food commodities in Bali today was recorded with 14 commodities decreasing and nine others increasing. The commodities with decreasing prices are Low Quality II Rice, Granulated Sugar, Cooking Oil, Bird's Eye Chili, Red Bird's Eye Chili, Green Bird's Eye Chili, Curly Red Chili, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Chicken Meat, Chicken Eggs, Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs, Red Chili, Large Red Chili and Local Granulated Sugar.

Following are the prices of nine staple food commodities monitored by PIHPS today compared to the price developments in the last month in Bali Province:

6. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp112,400 per kg (down 3.6%)
7. Rice per Kg Rp15,950 per kg (up 1.27%)
8. Red Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp146,950 per kg (down 1.18%)
9. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp77,850 per kg (down 7.82%)
