Daily Prices of Raw Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets of East Kalimantan Province Have Fallen 36.35% in the Last Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province has decreased by Rp 450 compared to the previous day, reaching Rp 48,950.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from Rp 76,900.

Meanwhile, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in East Kalimantan over the past three months has decreased by 19.56%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in East Kalimantan Province was traded at Rp 60,850.

The record high for the daily price of chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in July 2024 with an increase of 33.49%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2024 with a decrease of -24.53%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in East Kalimantan show ten commodities decreased and 16 others increased. Basic commodities with decreased prices are shallots, Grade I low-quality rice, fresh chicken eggs, medium-sized shallots, fresh broiler chicken, red chilies, large red chilies, chicken meat, chicken eggs, and local granulated sugar.
