West Java Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Monday, December 18, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (18/12/2023) at 12.20 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are shallots and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, broiler chicken meat, red chilies, curly red chilies, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,120 (3.71%) to Rp31,310 per kg. Curly red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp6,900 (8.72%) to Rp72,270 per kg.
