Indonesia's Thursday (November 21st) Food Prices: Egg Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (21/11/2024) at 2 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 11 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are bulk cooking oil, chicken eggs, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chilies, premium rice, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices saw the highest increase of Rp170 (0.55%) to Rp31,270 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices saw the steepest decrease of Rp1,160 (2.84%) to Rp39,640 per kg.
