Today's Food Price Update in Central Java: Onion and Sugar Prices Rise (Monday, February 26, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (26/2/2024) at 10:09 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, simple packaged cooking oil, farmer-level corn, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, red chili peppers, curly red chilies, chicken eggs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp2,220 (6.6%) to Rp35,880 per kg. The price of red chili peppers decreased the least, by Rp1,940 (2.71%) to Rp69,640 per kg.
