Today's Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Prices of Chilies, Onions, and Beef Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (15/10/2024) at 09.46 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, Indian mackerel, SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken meat, red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, garlic cloves, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,340 (11.42%) to Rp13,070 per kg. Red onion prices, on the other hand, saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp2,290 (9.47%) to Rp21,900 per kg.
