Bali's Latest Food Price Update: Cooking Oil Up, Chilies Down (Sunday, February 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (18/2/2024) at 12:34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk), chicken eggs, shallots, garlic bulbs, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, milkfish, chicken meat, mackerel, and dry soybean seeds (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp290 (2.47%) to Rp12,030 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the lowest decrease of Rp480 (1.3%) to Rp36,470 per kg.
