Latest Food Prices in Jambi: Chicken Meat Price Rises, Chili Decreases

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Thursday (August 14, 2025) at 11:35 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 increased and 15 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler eggs, mackerel, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, and corn at the farmer level.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as large red chilies, dried soybeans (imported), shallots, consumption salt, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Broiler chicken meat saw the highest increase of Rp375 (1.1%) to Rp34,581 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red bird's eye chili dropped the most sharply by Rp3,039 (7.14%) to Rp39,538 per kg.
