Beef Prices in These 10 Provinces Are the Highest (Tuesday, February 8, 2022)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded the average daily price of grade 1 beef (per kg) in modern markets in several provinces at Rp 162,020 per kg, data as of Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to last week's average of Rp 166,250 per kg.

The daily price of grade 1 beef in modern markets in East Kalimantan was the most expensive in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 192,400 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of grade 1 beef in this province is lower. Previously, it was recorded at Rp 257,050 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in Jambi, grade 1 beef was sold at Rp 180,000 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of grade 1 beef in West Kalimantan was Rp 179,900 per kg, Central Sulawesi Rp 177,950 per kg, and Bali Rp 177,300 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are seven provinces with grade 1 beef sales below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for grade 1 beef are Bangka Belitung Islands, North Sulawesi, and West Sumatra.
