Today's Food Prices in Lampung: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (15/10/2024) at 11:49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, red chilies, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase, jumping Rp1,400 (4.39%) to Rp33,320 per kg. Meanwhile, shallots saw the steepest price drop, decreasing by Rp780 (3.01%) to Rp25,150 per kg.
