Today's Food Prices February 12 in Central Java: Onion and Chicken Meat Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in Central Java today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Thursday (February 12, 2026) at 15:17 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 3 decreased.

The commodities that experienced price increases are broiler chicken meat, shallots, large red chilies, curly red chilies, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as beef hindquarter, Honan garlic, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots had the highest increase of Rp888 (2.3%) to Rp39,444 per kg. Premium rice had the sharpest decrease of Rp174 (1.15%) to Rp14,945 per kg.
