Food Prices Today, November 26, in Indonesia: Onions Up, Chili Down

Food prices in Indonesia today were observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (26/11/2025) at 14:21 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 1 commodity increased and 3 commodities decreased.

The only commodity that increased in price was red onion.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, large red chili, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion prices saw the highest jump, Rp400 (0.94%), to Rp42,800 per kg. The price of red bird's eye chili experienced the deepest drop, Rp800 (1.63%), to Rp48,400 per kg.

4. Red Bird's Eye Chili: Rp48,400 per kg (down 1.63%)
5. Red Onion: Rp42,800 per kg (up 0.94%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp40,000 per kg (stable)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp37,700 per kg (stable)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp32,500 per kg (stable)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp22,300 per liter (stable)
10. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp18,100 per kg (stable)
11. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,000 per liter (stable)
12. Minyakita: Rp16,700 per liter (stable)
13. Premium Rice: Rp16,300 per kg (stable)
