Latest Food Prices in D.I Yogyakarta: Rice, Salt and Red Chili Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in D.I Yogyakarta today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (4/9/2025) at 12:46 PM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, large red chili, SPHP rice, and red bird''s eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as premium rice, mackerel fish, skipjack tuna, garlic bulb, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The curly red chili commodity surged the highest by Rp2,914 (8.93%) to Rp35,550 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red onion dropped the sharpest by Rp1,637 (4.3%) to Rp36,400 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,714 per kg (down 0.21%)
8. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp34,325 per kg (up 0.22%)
9. Garlic Bulb: Rp30,160 per kg (down 0.08%)
