Food Prices in DKI Jakarta Today: Red Chili Prices Up, Chicken Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (20/9/2025) at 13:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 increased and 13 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include red onion, dried soybean (imported), bulk wheat flour, broiler eggs, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, milkfish, red cayenne pepper, pure beef, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

The price of dried soybean (imported) increased the most by Rp9,600 (inf%) to Rp9,600 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of broiler chicken meat dropped the most by Rp2,254 (5.41%) to Rp39,438 per kg.

9. Garlic Bulb: Rp40,471 per kg (down 2.48%)
