Central Java Food Prices, Sunday (April 13th): Red Chili Prices Rise, Buffalo Meat Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (13/4/2025) at 15.03 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), granulated sugar, Minyakita (branded cooking oil), broiler chicken, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler eggs, shallots, garlic bulbs, granulated salt, and packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The commodity that saw the highest price increase was dry soybean (import), jumping by Rp122 (1.27%) to Rp9,753 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh buffalo meat (local) saw the sharpest decrease, dropping by Rp3,571 (2.38%) to Rp146,429 per kg.
