Latest Food Prices in Lampung Region: Red Chili Prices Up, Cayenne Pepper Down

Prices of several food commodities in Lampung today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Wednesday (October 8, 2025) at 11:31 AM WIB, out of 23 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 10 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, SPHP rice, premium rice, packaged cooking oil, and Minyakita.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as dry soybean seeds (imported), bulk cooking oil, consumption salt, packaged wheat flour, and red cayenne pepper decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity saw the highest jump of Rp1,219 (2.21%) to Rp56,278 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level dropped the sharpest by Rp525 (7.87%) to Rp6,150 per kg.
