Central Java Food Prices Saturday (28/9): Onion Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (28/9/2024) at 15.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, garlic bulbs, red chilies, curly red chilies, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged simple cooking oil, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic bulbs saw the highest price increase of Rp570 (1.6%) to Rp36,120 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel saw the sharpest decrease of Rp490 (1.55%) to Rp31,100 per kg.
