Aceh Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Tuesday, January 2, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (2/1/2024) at 11:41 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, shallots, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, red chilies, pure beef, milkfish, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots saw the highest price increase of Rp1,400 (3.78%) to Rp38,420 per kg. Red chilies saw the lowest price decrease of Rp1,240 (3.42%) to Rp35,050 per kg.
