West Java Food Prices Thursday (24/10): Rice Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (24/10/2024) at 11.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, shallots, fine iodized salt, and packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as Indian mackerel, red chilies, granulated sugar, medium rice, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp510 (1.86%), reaching Rp27,890 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean seeds (import) decreased the most sharply by Rp220 (2.2%), reaching Rp9,800 per kg.
