In Musi Rawas Regency in 2023, the per capita weekly expenditure on rice and rice products was Rp19,400. This is an increase compared to the previous year's figure of Rp16,240 per capita per week.

Per capita expenditure refers to the total cost of consumption for all household members over a month, divided by the number of household members. This expenditure can be categorized into two parts: food and non-food.

Expenditure on food consumption is calculated weekly, while non-food expenditure is calculated monthly and for the past 12 months. Both food and non-food consumption are then converted into average monthly expenditure.
