Rice Prices in Riau Province's Traditional Markets Increased by 0.94% Over the Past Month

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 11:44 WIB, rice prices in Riau Province's traditional markets have not changed compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

However, compared to prices 30 days ago, rice prices in traditional markets have increased from the previously recorded Rp15,900.

Meanwhile, rice prices in Riau's traditional markets over the past three months have increased by 0.94% from the previously recorded price of Rp15,900.

The highest recorded increase in rice prices in the province's traditional markets was in June 2023, with a 14.79% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in July 2023, at -12.88%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Riau show seven commodities decreased and 11 increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Premium Quality Granulated Sugar, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Chicken Eggs, Granulated Sugar, and Fresh Broiler Chicken Eggs.

The following are the prices of nine basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to price changes over the past month in Riau Province:

8. Green Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp108,500 per kg (up 106.86%)
9. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg Rp23,500 per kg (down 1.88%)
