Food Prices Today in Jambi: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in Jambi today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (September 29, 2025) at 08.42 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 10 increased and 14 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include pure beef, dried soybean seeds (imported), bulk cooking oil, red bird's eye chili, and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, fresh buffalo meat (local), consumption salt, and curly red chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of red bird's eye chili saw the highest increase of Rp2,431 (5.37%) to Rp47,700 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of frozen buffalo meat (imported) experienced the steepest decrease of Rp12,500 (12.2%) to Rp90,000 per kg.
