Current Jambi Region Food Prices: Chili Prices Up, Sugar Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (30/12/2024) at 17:52 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, shallots, and dry soybeans (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), SPHP rice, granulated sugar, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp3,000 (6.23%), reaching Rp51,170 per kg. Bulk wheat flour prices decreased the most sharply, by Rp150 (1.51%), reaching Rp9,780 per kg.
