10 Provinces with the Highest Green Chili Prices (Friday, April 7, 2023)

The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of green chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces reaching Rp 75,390 per kg, as of Friday, April 7, 2023. Overall, the average this week increased compared to last week's average of Rp 73,110 per kg.

The daily price of green chilies in modern markets in North Kalimantan was the highest in Indonesia, with a selling price of Rp 162,500 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of green chilies in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 44,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Kalimantan, the price of green chilies was sold at Rp 129,900 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of green chilies in East Kalimantan was Rp 110,900 per kg, Papua Rp 107,500 per kg, and Bangka Belitung Islands Rp 97,450 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 21 provinces with green chili sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for green chilies are East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, and North Sumatra.
