Today's Food Prices (10/2) in South Sumatra: Onion and Egg Prices Rise

Several food commodity prices in South Sumatra were observed to increase today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Tuesday (February 10, 2026) at 17:13 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 1 commodity decreased.

Commodities that experienced price increases include curly red chili, broiler chicken meat, bulk granulated sugar, bulk palm cooking oil, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, only shallots decreased compared to yesterday's price.

Curly red chili prices jumped the highest by Rp2,778 (6.49%) to Rp45,556 per kg. Meanwhile, shallot prices decreased the most by Rp917 (2.32%) to Rp38,583 per kg.

Below is the complete list of prices for 16 food commodities in South Sumatra according to SP2KP Kemendag on February 10, 2026 at 17:13 WIB.

1. Beef Hindquarter: Rp136,667 per kg (unchanged)
2. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp70,833 per kg (up 0.59%)
3. Curly Red Chili: Rp45,556 per kg (up 6.49%)
4. Large Red Chili: Rp40,583 per kg (up 1.67%)
5. Shallots: Rp38,583 per kg (down 2.32%)
6. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37,667 per kg (up 0.67%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp36,083 per kg (up 0.46%)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,417 per kg (up 1.19%)
9. Packaged Premium Palm Cooking Oil: Rp19,750 per liter (up 1.94%)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,167 per liter (up 0.93%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,500 per kg (up 1.45%)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,700 per liter (unchanged)
