The National Strategic Food Price Information Center recorded an average daily price of large red chilies (per kg) in modern markets across several provinces at Rp 71,750 per kg, as of Friday, June 30, 2023. Overall, the average this week decreased compared to the previous week's average of Rp 83,220 per kg.

The daily price of large red chilies in modern markets in West Kalimantan was the highest in Indonesia at Rp 71,750 per kg. Compared to a month ago, the price of large red chilies in this province is higher; previously recorded at Rp 45,900 per kg.

Meanwhile, in modern markets in South Kalimantan, the price of large red chilies was sold at Rp 71,750 per kg, making it the second most expensive in the country.

Then, in third place, the price of large red chilies in Bali was Rp 71,750 per kg, in Yogyakarta Rp 71,750 per kg, and in Gorontalo Rp 71,750 per kg.

Meanwhile, there are 34 provinces with large red chili sales prices below the national average. The three provinces with the lowest selling prices for large red chilies are Banten, Riau Islands, and West Java.
