Today''s Food Prices in Indonesia: Chicken Meat Up, Onions Down

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (September 21, 2025) at 09.14 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 22 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices are broiler chicken meat, mackerel, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as curly red chili, garlic, large red chili, imported dried soybeans, and SPHP rice decreased compared to yesterday''s prices.

Skipjack tuna prices rose the highest by Rp478 (1.38%) to Rp35,219 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices fell the sharpest by Rp997 (2.82%) to Rp34,373 per kg.
