Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Onion and Oil Prices Drop

Prices of several food commodities in Central Java today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (6/11/2025) at 09.53 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 9 increased and 16 decreased.

Commodities with increased prices were broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour, Indian mackerel, table salt, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, fresh buffalo meat (local), curly red chili, bulk wheat flour, and frozen buffalo meat (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Indian mackerel saw the highest increase of Rp734 (2.18%) to Rp34,478 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fresh buffalo meat (local) experienced the deepest drop of Rp143,333 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
