Aceh Region Food Prices Thursday (8/8): Chili Prices Rise, Salt Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (8/8/2024) at 10:41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, bulk cooking oil, tongkol fish, kembung fish, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), garlic cloves, and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Kembung fish prices surged the highest by Rp2,630 (6.16%) to Rp45,350 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of fine iodized salt decreased the most by Rp580 (3.97%) to Rp14,040 per kg.
