Indonesia Food Prices Thursday (April 10th): Oil Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (10/4/2025) at 13.17 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 18 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are farmer-level corn, bulk wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated salt, dry soybean (import), bulk cooking oil, garlic cloves, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp52 (0.4%) to Rp12,987 per kg. Meanwhile, large red chilies experienced the sharpest price drop, falling by Rp1,170 (2.16%) to Rp52,935 per kg.
